Seafood Salad Recipe

Seafood does not have always to be an elaborate meal. It could also be a refreshing salad! Yes, here is a seafood recipe for a salad that you can put together and enjoy the benefits.  This South Asian inspired salad is pretty simple to make and does not need more than an hour.
To prepare this Thai Salmon Salad you will need-

1 ½ lb – salmon fillets
4 – Thai Chilies
4tbspn - fish sauce
4tbspn – lime juice
1-Thinly sliced onion
1 chopped – large tomato
2 tspns – brown sugar
1 cup – chopped fresh basil
1 – head lettuce

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Now take a small bowl and prepare the dressing by combining the lime juice, fish sauce, brown sugar and chopped chilies. Set aside.
Take a baking tray and place the salmon fillets on it- rub a little olive oil over. Bake in the pre heated oven for 20 minutes or until they flake easily.  Give it 15 minutes to cool.
Now place salmon fillet into a big bowl and with a fork, break the salmon meat into big chunks. Add the onion, tomato and basil- pour dressing over and toss lightly until well mixed.
Just place it on some lettuce leaves and serve immediately.
Wasn’t that easy? it is yummy too and so easy to make. There are so many ways to eat a salmon- a seafood recipe is a simple salad. It can’t get any better than this.
